Victoria Gutierrez is a native Texan, born and raised in El Paso, TX-- but she is an Austinite at heart. She attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX where she completed both of her degrees BA’00 & MLA’04 and still remains actively involved with the university. She works as a real estate auctioneer and divides her time between Austin, TX and Scottsdale, AZ. She enjoys serving as charity auctioneer as often as possible everywhere from California to Arizona to Texas to Massachusetts (and another 8 states in between), and says it is by far her favorite aspect of auctioneering.
Family is at the core of who Victoria is. Her brother John lives in Scottsdale, AZ and can be found camping out in Cave Creek any weekend- he is quite the outdoorsman. Her youngest sister Melany lives in Austin and enjoys time with her various pets including; Pita, Bill & Tink her sugar gliders, Midori a white Persian cat, Shelby-Pepto her dog and of course her glorious fish all named after famous world leaders-- Mao Tse Tung, Fidel Castro and Vladimir Putin. Her mother Vicky, lives in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband Geno of 4 years and Victoria says she couldn’t have asked for a better step dad; he never had a daughter and always wanted one- so they both seem to be blessed by each other.
Then there is Youssef, the love of Victoria’s life who has not only brought two new languages- French and Arabic into her life but a great sense of peace, love and all things Moroccan. He is a CFO at a real estate company in Austin and keeps her grounded when she has her Lucy Ricardo moments! Eventually they will settle down in one of the two cities but for now Southwest Airlines is their vehicle to each other...who knows what exciting things the future will bring!
